How can I stay in good emotional and physical shape for as long as possible after returning from holiday?

AUM family doctor Daiva Puškoriūtė advises:

– Make a transition and plan your first working day after the holidays without difficult meetings and complex problem-solving. Postpone them until later, so that the first day can act as a buffer for further work and make it easier to get back into the routine. – Get back into your routine – re-arrange your day so that everything is consistent and planned – start getting up at the same time again, do pleasant daily rituals (slow coffee or green tea in the morning from your favourite cup, bring back sport, meditation after work into your routine) – get your priorities right and don’t get distracted. Don’t let others disturb your agenda and learn to say no when you need to. Summer and holidays should have done their good work and brought physical mental and emotional balance back into your life. Therefore, my advice after the holidays would be to have blood tests, KMA and to take your “best shape” parameters. If it turns out that the summer sun and sea didn’t do their job fully- this can be very easily fixed with quality oral supplements or IV drips to get you back to your best shape as quickly as possible. By planning your return to work after the holidays well, you can turn this potentially stressful time into an opportunity to rejuvenate yourself, maintain your mood and optimism, create new rituals and stay in the best physical and emotional shape possible for as long as possible.
